Former
Birmingham City Councilman Bert Miller has died.
Miller
served one term on the City Council, representing Birmingham's District 7 from
2001 to 2005.
"As
a friend I will miss him," Bell said. "My heart and sympathy goes out
to the family." William Bell also served on the council with Miller
and is now the city mayor.
Bertram
"Bert" Miller grew up in the Hillman Gardens neighborhood in west
Birmingham. He graduated from Wenonah High School. He died at a Montgomery
hospital.
