The so called non-taxing party has again broken their
promises to create new taxes and has instead deceived the American people. The
Republican Party better known as the GOP, is trying to take our country back to
the early days of the Jim Crowe era. They want to take away the civil and
voting rights of minorities, and especially the African Americans.
In
1964, the American people enacted the 24th Amendment, to prevent the exclusion
of the poor from the ballot box. The 24th Amendment forbids the imposition
of "any poll tax or other tax" in federal elections.
Yea,
it’s the Republican Party that’s always crying about upholding the Constitution
of the United States of America, but when it comes to what they need, they lay
the U.S. Constitution aside and deceive you the American people.
Many
Republican lead states have imposed a poll tax on their citizens at the ballot
box. States like Texas, Indiana, Wisconsin, Florida, South Carolina and Pennsylvania
to name a few, requiring a Voter ID to cast a ballot of your choice. If you cannot
afford a state issued ID, then you can’t vote. Ummm, why Republicans?
The
24th Amendment denies states the power to create such a financial barrier to
the ballot box. A law requiring a photo ID to vote attacks a key achievement of
the civil rights era.
The
Republican Party has become the biggest liars and deceivers in American politics
and government. They are an established haven for the 1% in this country, and
seek to deprive and destroy the minorities, poor and middle class.
Many
Republicans will continue to lie and tell you that they have passed these laws
to prevent voter fraud. Hold up you big Elephants, records and facts show that
in many states voter fraud amounted to less than 1% and in some states it have
not even reached a half of an percent.
It’s
clear that the Republican Party agenda is to prevent voter turnout to favor
their chances at the ballot box.
The
republicans don’t care about the economy, they don’t care about jobs being
outsourced overseas, they don’t care about your healthcare, but what they do care
about is taxing the poor and middle class and handing out “Freebies” to the 1
or 2 percent Americans.
The
wealthy Americans and big corporations don’t even pay the taxes that the
average middle class and poor pay in this country. But they continue to deny
you the American people your rights.
The
Republican Party is not being transparent in this process and American government.
They are raising secret cash to fund their Super PAC’s to attack the truth. It’s
very clear with no doubt that the Republicans has been bought and paid for.
These
new Voter ID laws and Massive Poll Tax will disenfranchise voters and depress
the voter turnout in many areas and states around the Country.
U.S.
Attorney General Eric Holder and the Justice Department is doing this Country a
good deed to challenge these crazy laws that the Republicans has imposed upon
the American people.
Republicans
just stop it and live by what you say you really believe and let the American
people decide the rest. Do you really have to cheat to win, or work for the
American people and let your work speak for itself?
