U.S. Judge refuses to block Florida voter purge

The battle continues with the voting rights controversy in the South, it seems that the Republicans are continuing to play into their deck of cards when it comes to this matter.

A federal judge has refused to stop Florida from removing potentially non-U.S. citizens from its voter rolls.

The U.S. Department of Justice sued the state to halt the purge.

U.S. District Judge Robert Hinkle said Wednesday that there was nothing in federal voting laws that prevent the state from identifying non-U.S. citizens even if it comes less than 90 days before the Aug. 14 election.

Hinkle ruled that federal laws are designed to block states from removing eligible voters close to an election. He said they are not designed to stop states from blocking voters who should have never been allowed to cast ballots in the first place.

Gov. Rick Scott praised Hinkle's decision. It is no question that these voting laws are succeeding before this upcoming election by only Republicans. Republicans are out to destroy this country, they are highly upset that we have a man of color as President and vowed to make him a one term President.

You can see the actions of the Republicans today, they are deceiving the American people and the American dream, taking the most important right away from American citizens and treating the minorities like second hand citizens. They also want to block every minority vote there is, so that the minority vote want be that of 2008.

This is clear that the Republicans have begun to take us back into the Jim Crow era.
