Ron Sparks a democratic candidate for Governor of Alabama said that Mobile County voters deserve the chance to decide whether they want casino gambling.At a news conference Thursday in Mobile, Sparks called for a state constitutional amendment that would allow casino gambling in counties where voters agreed to it. "If you want it, you can vote it in. You don't, vote it out. But I don't want somebody in north Alabama telling Mobile County that you can't have casino gambling in Mobile. I don't want somebody -- because they know how close you are to Biloxi -- trying to stop you," he said.Sparks supports casino gambling and a State Lottery. Sparks and Artur Davis are running for the Democratic nomination. One the republican side no republican is supporting a lottery of gambling bill.
